MY GLOVES ARE ALWAYS WET, WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND TO KEEP MY HANDS DRY?
If you’re constantly finding that your hands are wet, a Gore-tex or a waterproof glove is going to be your best option. It’s crucial to have a glove that’s made specifically for skiing or snowboarding, because it will give you bet warmth, movement, breathability and moisture wicking.
DO I NEED WRIST GUARDS WHEN I’M LEARNING HOW TO SNOWBOARD?
Anyone who says snowboarding isn’t a physical sport, obviously has never tried it before. Most wrist injuries happen among beginner snowboarders, so wrist guards are highly recommended for your first few trips to the hill. We sell certain styles of mitts and gloves that include built-in wrist protection, or you can get a separate wrist guard to wear underneath your glove.
MY HANDS FREEZE, WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO KEEP MY HANDS WARMER?
It’s winter, and cold hands come with the territory. However, if you generally find that your hands get cold easily, we’d suggest that you go with a mitt as they generally provide far more warmth. You can also look for gloves and mitts with extra insulating materials like Primaloft. Once again, if your gloves are waterproof, your hands are they much more likely to be warm! Dry hands = warm hands = happy hands! You can also put hand warmers in your gloves on extra cold days to keep your fingers toasty.
